Article: Application for framework agreements
The railway law provides for the possibility of concluding framework agreements. Agreements can be concluded for the use of track capacity for a longer period than just a single working timetable.
The third framework timetable period comprises the working timetable periods 2016 to 2020. Railway Undertakings (RUs) and all other access parties (APs) can secure capacities which are planned for application by means of framework agreements on the basis of the “Model Framework Agreement for the Allocation of Railway Capacity”.
Furthermore already concluded framework agreements may be altered in accordance with paragraph 5 of the framework agreement.
