International train path application using the PCS - "Path Coordination System"

Article: International train path application using the PCS - "Path Coordination System"

PCS enables the coordination and submission of international train path applications in one single process.

The Path Coordination System is a common web application implemented by the infrastructure operators that are members of RailNetEurope (RNE). PCS supports the coordination processes for international train path applications between the applicants, and enables the submission of harmonised international train path applications in one single process for all involved infrastructure managers. Correct and complete data input is required to ensure smooth further processing of the PCS train path application at DB Netz AG. The One-Stop Shop will be happy to support you in preparing and submitting your international train path application.

Please note that PCS DB Netz can currently be used in the first instance for international path requests in the working timetable. Due to technical IT reasons, using PCS for amendments to the annual timetable during the year and for ad hoc services is not yet recommended at present.

Exhaustive information on the application of PCS is available on the RNE website. The link on the right-hand side will take you directly there.
