Article: Train path graphics facilitate train time interval planning
DB Netz AG offers to create train path graphics for railway undertakings (RUs) to simplify their time interval planning on request.
A graphic represents the annual timetable's ordered train paths as time-distance lines in a coordinate system. The operating locations are arranged horizontally, and the hours of the day vertically.
Due to data privacy reasons, each customer is only provided with a visualisation of these train paths for which it has submitted a train path order and received and accepted an offer. DB Netz AG also offers RUs a joint overview of their train paths. The prerequisite for this is the express approval of all RUs whose data are to be recorded.
Customers can request the train path graphics from DB Netz AG's regional customer management.
